Vivera is a family-run winery based in Linguaglossa, on the slopes of Mount Etna. It is here that, in 2003, the wine-making adventure of the Vivera family began. From the outset they pursued a high-quality approach to viticulture, studied and planned in every small detail. Nothing is left to chance when it comes to Vivera, whose wines are now successfully exported abroad, proving that even a young company can thrive if it possesses a commercial vision right from the start. Vivera’s vineyards extend over an area of approx. 30 hectares, most of them on Mount Etna with a few smaller holdings in other areas of Sicily such as Corleone and Chiaramonte Gulfi. Each terroir has its own character and peculiarities. The vineyards are dedicated to the farming of several native Sicilian vines and a small number of international varieties. Vivera currently produces eight labels, offering a comprehensive overview of Sicily’s wine production.
